Canon's new release of the 70d is no surprise since it's biggest competitor Nikon came out with their big release of the d7100 recently so Canon has to stay competitive.
So is it worth the upgrade from the 60d? Well it has a couple more megapixel than its predecessor but not a big deal there.
It does have a 5+ image processor so the picture quality will be improved. Also it has built in wireless connectivity which the 60d did not have.
There are other improvements such as a touchscreen and a dual pixel CMOS which will improve auto focusing.
The price is good to so we would definitely suggest the upgrade if you are in to technology and you are in to HD video.
