Nikon D5300 VS. Nikon D5200 what are the upgrades?

d5300vsd5200

Nikon recently released the all new Nikon D5300. So is it worth upgrading to this camera ? To answer this question lets take a look at the improvements that Nikon made with the newer camera.

One of the upgrades on the new D5300 is that it has the same upgraded sensor as the D7100 with a optical low-pass filter which should create slightly sharper images.  It also comes with a brand new EXPEED 4 processor and built-in Wi-Fi and GPS capabilities.

Most of the other features are very similar on both cameras. So is the D5300 worth the upgrade? The Nikon D5300 seems like a good upgrade for  those who are currently using a D3000 and D3100 or from the original D5000  and D5100 cameras.

In case you are currently using  D5200 it might not be necessary to upgrade to the new one since most of the features remain the same. The only major difference is the built-in Wi-Fi and GPS capabilities. In case that is essential to you than we would say go for it.

Whichever camera you choose you can be sure that you will find the lowest price at www.slrhut.co.uk Questions ? We are happy to help. You can call one of our friendly and knowledgeable staff at 02035 149 372

Nikon D600 vs D610 What are the upgrades ?

Nikon-D610-Vs-Nikon-D600

Is it worth upgrading to the new Nikon D610 as opposed to the older Nikon D600. In order to answer that question lets take a look at the the features that Nikon improved on the newer camera.

The main reason Nikon came out with the D610 only a little over a year after its predecessor would be due to the complaints they were getting about dust and/or oil on the sensor.

The Nikon D610 has  a new shutter unit in order to combat this issue. The new camera has some other improvements but they are very minor. The shutter is really the only major upgrade.

Both cameras make great choices and can be found for the lowest price at www.slrhut.co.uk Questions ? We are happy to help. You can call us at 02035 149 372  and one of our friendly and knowledgeable staff will be standing by to guide you.
