It converges both the 1D and 1Ds product lines into a single camera.

The new camera includes an 18.1MP CMOS sensor that can capture stills at 12fps with AE and AF activated. Of course, it captures 1080p video too.

It was scheduled to launch in March at some point, but now it won’t hit stores until April.
