The Sony NEX 5N is a sort of hybrid camera which combines the power and functionality of a DSLR, with the smaller profile and portability of a point-and-shoot. With the ability to interchange lenses, the NEX offers the same creative flexibility of it's larger DSLR's  in a more compact package than one would normally expect.
Housed within this camera petit, is a 16.1 Mega-pixel APS-C CMOS sensor, which delivers accurate colours and the details professional photogs demand these days. Another demand from today's Digital SLR's is the ability to record HD video, and this camera delivers in this aspect as well, capturing moving images
in 1920 x 1080p at up to 60 frames per second.
And since the NEX supports the MP4 codec and features an HDMI port, uploading video to the Internet or showing your work on high definition displays is easy, and convenient in such a compact form factor.
With a large, tilting LCD panel on the backside, and the ability to interchange either Sony's E-Mount or A-Mount Lenses, the NEX 5N can boast that it is a lightweight contender that can hold it's own with the heavyweights.

We found some excellent images taken with the Sony NEX 5N...
